The Boqueria Market, Explosion of Colors and FlavorsLa Boqueria, also known as 'Mercat de Sant Josep' is a market in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona next to Las Ramblas. La Boqueria houses more than 300 shops offering a huge variety of homemade products and exotics. It is the biggest market in Spain, the most visited by tourists and, most importantly, the market with the most diverse food supply. You'll find shops selling fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, fresh juices and all kinds of high quality handcrafted products. The market also has many products not easily found elsewhere. La Boquería, with its salesmen displaying their items in the best possible way, is one of the most photogenic sites of Barcelona.
